Dear Shareholders:
Based on the Statewide Fire Restrictions ordered by the Governor, the Pines Ranch Board of Directors is instituting a ban on all outdoor open fires (regardless of pit design) on the ranch until further notice.
What is allowed?
BBQs & Grills: Although we are still allowing the use of BBQs (in an established propane and charcoal pit or grill), please use extra caution in deciding where you use your BBQs. Avoid using BBQs near grass and trees. Use caution when lighting your grills as well as how you are disposing of the ash from a charcoal grill. Do not dump hot ash on the ranch. Let ash cool completely and dispose properly.
Indoor fires: Use caution when using indoor fires as well. Sparks from the chimney can ignite dry grass and trees.
Cars: Be aware of where you park your cars when the engine underside might be hot. Only park your car on dirt. Avoid parking on grass.
REPORTING: If you become aware of someone not adhering to the restrictions, please provide evidence via email or text to me and we will address the issue as a board.
PENALTY: If any cabin user does not adhere to the fire ban/restrictions, a penalty of $500 will be enforced.
Please forward this to ALL of the folks that use your cabin.
In service to the ranch,
Emily Tillett (Lewis Cabin)
