We saw a large animal come out from under the shed and climb up and on the fence posts. We weren't sure if it was a badger or something like that. After a Google search, turns out it's a yellow-bellied marmot. What? Never heard of it. Apparently they are quite common in UT. Who knew!
We saw and got pretty close and personal with the Marmot. Very cool. We saw a big bunny go under the shed also, hum...
Jon, that is cool you got such a great picture of it! Years ago, we heard restling in some bushes. Tevin was young and walked over to take a look and some animal (about the size of that marmot) hissed and went charging after him. I wonder if they are agressive like that. Ha-ha. Scared us to death. Thanks for sharing.
